It’s central location close to bars and restaurants in a lovely neighborhood of Bogota.

Nothing as a whole it’s pretty good. For safety reasons the lobby door is always locked and someone has to open it for you every time you come in and out. Other than that, yes I’ll stay there again.

It's in Zona Rosa so kind of close to everything

The immediate neighborhood feels sketchy even though Zona Rosa is supposed to be the "nicest" area. It got a bit worse when I saw that they keep their front door locked even during the day!

Decent budget property with comfortable clean rooms.

Decent budget property with comfortable clean rooms. Very good value for the money. Hotel staff is also extremely professional and courteous. It is located in an excellent location near many restaurants, bars and cafes; Zona Rosa is very safe to stay in as well. Without a doubt, would stay in this hotel again.

A little bit noisy (at night) that comes from the clubs in the neighborhood.

All the members of staff are very kind, helpful and...

All the members of staff are very kind, helpful and welcoming. The suites are well equiped with little kitchenette and there is a large supermarket nearby as well as good restaurants.

The carpets are old and would need to be changed. The area is very lively at night over the weekend it could be great to provide ear plugs.

The staff was great - Oscar was very friendly and helpful. Gave me great recommendations and was one of the most welcoming staff members I’ve had the pleasure to meet. The room itself was spacious and clean. Breakfast was good and the hotel is in a good location.

Good quiet and comfortable hotel not too far from the airport, so ideal before a flight.

Comfortable hotel with good service team. Nice breakfast with good service. Bathroom was good. In a quiet area, although we didn't have time to explore.

The windows were neither new nor soundproof. That was dissapointing as this was the reason we chose the hotel. However as the area is quiet it was not really a problem. Our suite room contained a kitchenette however it was not equipped so we couldn’t make a tea or coffee.

Well situated for Zona Rosa/ Zona T.

Well situated for Zona Rosa/ Zona T. A nice safe area with lots of bars & restaurants. A taxi to La Candelaria averaged at about 15 mil pesos so perfectly reasonable. Staff were very friendly & very helpful.

The rooms were just a little dated but very clean. Although delicious, we were only ever allowed to chose between pancakes, or scrambled eggs for breakfast every morning. A little more choice would have been nice!

What was the highlight of Hotel Excelsior

We came here last year and we'll come here again if we're ever back this way.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. Went out of their way to help us, including printing our boarding passes for our next flight, helping us up and down the stairs with our large suitcases. The taxis they called for us came on time and were excellent vehicles (seat belts, roomy, etc). The breakfasts were a great way to start the day, with a little variety each day. And one of the best things, I think, is the location. Great restaurants, stores and just a pleasant area to be in.

The bed was a bit too firm for us but that's a personal choice so we can't really complain. The only real complaint was the street noise at night. Next time, we'll request a room at the back instead of on the street. Last year our room was at the back and there were no problems.

Excellent service and location and a quiet little charming...

Excellent service and location and a quiet little charming hotel. They have a cheap restaurant in the hotel with decent food. The minibar was also really cheap so that you actually wanted to use it. We really loved this hotel which has a lot of value for the money. Excellent for couples.
